Practically Perfeckt in Every Way |
Daily, frequent ramblings of an uncommonly adorable girl. ...and sometimes cute pictures of her dog too. |
I have not been on tumblr lately because I have been,
A. BUSY!
B. Lazy…
and
3. AFK
I’ve been applying to jobs and going on interview( s ), but the holiday season has really taken it out of me completely. Although I do have something that looks promising on the horizon.
As far as Christmas shopping goes, I’ve spent a decent amount on the ones I love, and saved a TON via online sales, black friday, coupons and just driving everywhere and price comparing.
Santa is bring Audrey a shit load of Ponyville stuff, which is basically the grown up and sized down version of regular old My Lil’ Pony stuff. I got her this big huge Pony hair salon, (which is so fitting right?) for 50% off at Kohls. Who knew Kohls had toys? And at such reasonable prices!?
I got Connor a Small Paul by Paul Frank zipup hoodie which is to die for and adorable and I got Charlie a bunch of PS3 related things (not to mention a TON of games and DVDs) that he’s been bugging me about for the past 4 weeks. He’s been bringing up the things he wants and following it up with the “if you haven’t already bought it, or aren’t planning on buying it soon, just tell me so I can get it now” spiel. Naughty naughty boy trying to ruin the surprises. I’ve done a decent job of faking him out on a few things, but I’m pretty sure he knows what MOST everything is.
I bought a ton of books for everyone too, and all the brother in laws are getting cases of Winter Brew beers, so that should be fun. Speaking of beer, Charlie informed me today that he wants to start a beer blog next year and try a new beer every week. 52 beers for the year and a few trips to local breweries sounds full of win to me, not to mention the beers we will be trying when we go to restaurants and bars with awesomeness on tap. When did I start liking beer?
Tomorrow I have to wrap a few more presents, clean my room and do some laundry, put the presents that belong here under the tree, and the ones I’m taking to Charlies family in the car, clean out the car to make room for the presents, make salt scrubs and put them in cute containers, go to the store for the ingredients for pecan pralines, make pecan pralines, cut and color my moms hair, oh and also cut my dads hair, help with the feast for tomorrow, and also find time to shower, get dressed and help with Audrey….
Jesus Christ.
