I’m sick of being the best friend. I’m sick of loving my best friend. I’m sick of falling in love with someone and then them telling me that they don’t like me that way. That they only like me as a friend and want to stay friends. It sucks because I’ll always want more than that and it sucks because you never will.

I hate falling in love with the straight girls. With the guy who only has eyes for someone else. I hate being the best friend because I’m never seen as anything more than that.

I’ll always be the best friend, I’ll never be the girlfriend.

It gets better, eventually. I swear and promise. Just remember that when the time comes for that, it will be the right time, and forcing that stuff usually bites you in the ass in the end.
